Issue: SAN issues led to numerous services being unavailable to users overnight. Almost all production services were back before 07.00, although SPACE (Pythagoras) was unavailable until around 10.00. Other services – e.g. project and development – were being brought back up later in the morning. Some services (e.g. ICIS and Portal) were only offline briefly – up to ten minutes.
Cause: An ongoing and known issue with the IBM SAN.
